Heart disease is the number killer's disease. Every year there are a lot of people who die from heart problems. In this article I am going to tell you some facts about heart problems. Heart diseases have a wide range of symptoms and cause you to feel pain in different parts of your body. The main cause of heart diseases is the clogging of the heart arteries.

Heart attack is the most common type of heart problems. If we talk about the symptoms then it ranges from  pain in chest, shortness of breath, headache, nausea and vomiting. If you feel any discomfort in between your ribs, you might have experienced heart problems or stroke. If you want to avoid heart problems it is very important to control diet and keep your weight under control. Diabetes can also be one of the cause of heart problems.

Diabetics are prone to heart problems because they do not regulate their glucose properly. Blood sugar level plays an important role in the working of the heart. The heart pumps blood from the heart to all parts of the body through a network of veins and arteries. As we know that the heart has two pumping systems i.e. it can pump either through the upper or lower part of our body.

The main cause of heart problems and high blood pressure is excessive fat accumulation in the body. It is not hard to control diabetes and if you maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly you can avoid heart disease. There is no magic bullet to prevent diabetes but controlling it can keep diabetes at bay.

Certain medications may lead to heart problems and high blood pressure. Some of these medications may even lead to cancer. Some of these medications may include beta blockers, anti-inflammatory drugs, and calcium channel blockers. You should consult with your doctor on the side effects of these and other medications you use to control diabetes.

Coronary heart diseases are usually caused by fatty deposits in the arteries and they cause irregular heart beats. High cholesterol usually causes hypertension. Coronary heart diseases usually cause sudden failure of pump blood as well as it should. The sudden failure of the heart usually caused by coronary arthritic plaques. These plaques usually block the flow of blood and they lead to heart problems.

Abnormalities in the heart rhythm can also be caused by congenital heart defects. These abnormalities usually affect the pumping action of the heart. This usually happens when the baby uses the ventricular muscle as well as its attached atria without adequate flow of oxygenated blood. These babies usually fail to develop enough blood supply to the heart and this leads to heart attacks. It is advisable for parents to take their baby for regular checkups to monitor the growth of the child's heart. This will help the doctor to monitor the growth of the child's heart and determine if the heart murmur that he records during the check up is really the result of a heart attack.

If you feel that you have any abnormal heart rate or abnormal blood pressure, it is important to talk to your doctor right away. The sooner the doctor orders an EKG or electrocardiogram, the faster the doctor will be able to make a correct diagnosis of the problem. You might also want to get your heart checked every year, because an irregular heart rate means that there is something wrong with your heart. So you should talk to your doctor about your health conditions and let him or her know if you experience palpitations or if you feel shortness of breath.
