Virgil Abloh, the CEO of Off-White and Nike's Creative Director, has recently announced the release of a new collaboration that will see the release of the Air Force 1 Low in Off-White - MCA University Blue - Maxluxes. This pair of shoes will feature a full-blue upper with Metallic Silver Swoosh, and a contrasting black midsole and outsole. Designed for a streamlined, minimalistic look, the air force 1 low off-white mca university blue - maxluxes is set to be released on July 21 at ComplexCon in Los Angeles.

Virgil Abloh's "Figures of Speech" exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art

Virgil Abloh's Figures of Speech exhibition opened at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago on June 10. It's a multi-disciplinary exhibition that explores Abloh's practice of connecting architects, musicians, and visual artists.

The exhibit is accompanied by a catalogue, which includes more than 1,800 images drawn from Abloh's personal archive. The catalog also includes talks, musical events, and an index of illustrations. It was published to coincide with the exhibition and will be distributed worldwide.

"Figures of Speech" spans two decades of Abloh's career and is his first solo exhibition. The show explores the creative processes, partnerships, and products that are part of his work. It also presents a new merchandising initiative and a retail shop called Church & State. This shop will carry Abloh's best-selling Off-White items and limited editions.

The fourth floor of the MCA is dedicated to the exhibition. Rem Koolhaas designed the immersive space.

All-blue upper

Virgil Abloh and Nike partnered up to release the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low. This slam dunk release isn't coming out until June but that doesn't mean you can't get a pair now. It also has the honor of being the most expensive of the bunch at a whopping $150 USD. The sneaker is set to be released in men's and grade school sizing. The shoe has all the bells and whistles one would expect from an Off-White collaboration, including a University blue leather upper, metallic silver Swoosh logos, and a white laces. It is definitely the most impressive and well built of the lot. If you're in the market for a new pair of kicks, this is the shoe to buy.

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 may be on the cutting edge of the pack, but it still has a few ups and a few downs. A lot of people aren't sure what to make of the latest collaborative effort, but the results have been well worth the wait. Besides the fact that the shoe is actually functional, a good portion of the proceeds will go to a worthy cause. The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago is the recipient of the lucky lot.

Metallic Silver Swoosh

Virgil Abloh and Nike have relaunched their collaboration with the Off-White x Air Force 1 Low. The sneaker features an all-blue leather upper and silver stitched Swoosh. The shoe also sports a black rubber AF1 sole. This colorway is not available in Virgil Abloh's "Figures of Speech" exhibition at the MCA in Chicago on June 10. The shoe is set to hit select Nike Sportswear retailers in June.

The Air Force 1 is an iconic sneaker, and the Off-White x Nike AF1 Low is no exception. Its upper is constructed of box leather and sports the signature Virgil Abloh inscriptions in white. The shoe also boasts a red zip-tie and metallic silver Swoosh. Its tonal sole unit includes Air cushioning and a concentric traction pattern.

The most impressive feature of the Off-White x Air Force 1 is the esoteric Metallic Silver Swoosh on the side of the sneaker. The faux-mist has a swoosh that is too big for its own good, but it does have the correct size.

ComplexCon release date

Virgil Abloh's Off White x Nike Air Force 1 Low "MCA" has arrived in official images. The limited release will hit ComplexCon Chicago this weekend. Those attending the convention will have the opportunity to win two pairs. They will be drawn on Saturday and Sunday. All proceeds will go to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. The release date for the Nike AF1 Low MCA has not yet been announced, but it is expected to drop sometime in June.

The AF1 Low MCA features a University Blue leather upper with metallic silver Swooshes and a Red zip tie. The midsole also features a Metallic Silver Nike Swoosh. This model will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers in June.

The AF1 collection also includes a pair of 'ACRONYM' sneakers, which feature the classic white-on-white motif. The resale value for this style is high. It's estimated to be worth $1,282 on StockX.
